Tailoring

This season, casual talloring is taking a sharper turn. The new deformalised aesthetic marks a return to the classic slim-fit silhouette wich means swapping your jeans-and-jacket for a full sult - while retaining the informal ethos by how you wear it. You can undercut a super-sharp sult by wearing it with an untucked slouchy T-shirt or a shirt with a cutaway collar (note; no ties) or get the carefree edge by jacking up the sleeves or wearing the suit with a clean pair of plimsolls. The idea is to go past louche lounge lizard edginess of the 2000s, to achieve a new relaxed elgance.

Style Tip. Try striped tees and flashes of colour under a blazer to achieve a preppy look.

Style Tip. A casual checked or demin shirt looks great under a blazer.

Style Tip. Layer up T-shirts under a blazer for a more relaxed approach to tallering // Ruche the sleeves of a jacket for a more relaxed feel.
